Take Action by December 9th, 2017! – Red Nation’s #NoDeadNatives clothing drive in Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Gallup

The Gallup Report on border town violence in Gallup N.M. stated that during the winter of 2014 and 2016, twenty-six (26) Natives died from exposure. The Red Nation then set up a clothing drive for those who are un-sheltered and remain susceptible to the environment.

Priority needs are for Mens XL Winter Coats, Scarves and Gloves as well as blankets, sleeping bags and outdoor/camping gear. There is also a need for children’s winter coats and feminine hygiene products.  If you can, please contribute, If you cannot, please share the The Gallup Report to help raise awareness about issues in reservation border towns,

There is now a Santa Fe drop-off Location at 1420 Cerrillos Road for the Red Nation’s #NoDeadNatives clothing drive. This collection point is just inside the door and open from 10AM-5PM daily and sponsored by the Santa Fe DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) local chapter and is hosted by IATSE Local 480 through December 9th.
